First seen Dec 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested a training program for confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE), a technique that lets doctors see cells in real time during a stomach exam. 147 adults aged 18-85 took part. The goal was to see if the training helps doctors accurately tell cancerous from non-cancerous tissue, potentially improving early diagnosis of stomach cancer.
