New collarbone plate system tested for safety and healing

Summary

This study looks at a commercially available metal plate and screw system used to fix broken collarbones. Researchers want to confirm that the implant and tools are safe and help the bone heal properly. About 98 adults who need surgery for a collarbone fracture will be followed for 12 months to check bone healing and any side effects.
