First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether playing classical music (live or recorded) in the emergency room waiting area helps patients and their families feel like they wait less. About 97 adults took part, and researchers measured their satisfaction with a questionnaire. The goal was to see if music can improve the waiting experience without changing actual wait times.
