Massive ICU study aims to slash deadly catheter infections

Summary
This study will track about 1,846 adult ICU patients with central lines to find out how often bloodstream infections happen and what factors increase risk. The goal is to use this information to improve prevention steps and reduce infections, which can be deadly and costly. Participants are from ICUs across China, and the study does not test any new drug or device.
