4,500-Patient study aims to predict heart and kidney risks
NCT ID NCT07327606
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will follow about 4,500 people with cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome for at least 3 years. Researchers will collect blood samples and use stress echocardiograms to look for biomarkers that predict major heart problems like heart attack or stroke. The goal is to build a model that helps doctors tailor treatment and follow-up for each patient.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a predictive model that helps doctors personalize treatment and follow-up for people with cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It may not find clear predictors, and results may not apply to all patients.
