First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at whether circuit training, with or without extra arm and leg resistance exercises, could reduce sudden nighttime breathing trouble and improve daily function in people who had heart bypass surgery. Sixty adults aged 35 to 65 who had surgery 3-6 months earlier took part. The goal was to see if adding resistance training to standard circuit training offers extra benefits for breathing and endurance.
