New anesthetic tested to stop Post-Surgery confusion in seniors

Summary
This study is testing if a newer anesthetic drug called Ciprofol is better than the standard drug Propofol at preventing post-surgery delirium (sudden confusion) in patients 65 and older having major chest surgery. Researchers will compare how often delirium occurs in the week after surgery between the two groups. The goal is to find a safer anesthesia method to protect brain function in older patients.
