New antibody drug enters first human tests for hard-to-treat cancers

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug called CHS-114 in people with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The drug targets a protein on certain immune cells to help the body fight cancer. About 87 adults will take part to find safe doses and check for side effects, both when CHS-114 is given alone and when combined with another cancer drug.
