New study tests two ways to block tailbone pain signals
NCT ID NCT07427212
Summary
This study compared two different nerve-blocking procedures for people with chronic tailbone pain that didn't improve with medication. 50 adults were randomly assigned to receive either a fluoroscopy-guided or ultrasound-guided procedure. Researchers measured pain levels and daily function before treatment and again at 3 weeks and 3 months to see which approach worked better.
