First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at 104 adults with chronic shoulder pain to compare two treatments: a nerve block injection and a procedure called radiofrequency ablation (RFA) that uses heat to calm the nerve. The goal was to see which provides better and longer-lasting pain relief and improves shoulder function. Results may help doctors choose the best treatment for patients who haven't gotten relief from standard care.
