New hope for women with debilitating pelvic pain

NCT ID NCT06150599

Summary

This study is testing whether a small, implanted device can help reduce chronic pelvic pain in women. The device, called a sacral neuromodulator, sends mild electrical pulses to nerves near the tailbone. Researchers will track changes in pain levels and quality of life over a year in 25 participants who have not found relief from other treatments.
