Silent sound waves target chronic pain in new trial

Summary
This early study is testing a new, non-invasive device that uses focused sound waves to try to reduce chronic pain from conditions like knee osteoarthritis and nerve pain. Five participants will receive a single 15-minute treatment to the knee area. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and if it can cut participants' pain scores in half.
