Scientists probe Mind-Body link in mysterious jaw pain

Summary
This study aims to better understand chronic jaw muscle pain by looking at how it connects to a person's mental state, genetics, and body chemistry. Researchers will compare 51 adults with this long-term pain to 51 adults without it. They will use blood tests, pain measurements, and questionnaires about stress and mood to see how these factors are related.
