Doctors tested on virtual patients to improve chronic care
NCT ID NCT05192590
Summary
This study tested whether giving doctors educational materials about a specific diagnostic test would change how they care for patients with chronic heart and metabolic conditions. Nearly 250 primary care doctors participated by managing simulated patient cases online. Researchers compared the decisions and costs of care between doctors who received the test education and those who did not.
