NCT ID NCT07477327
First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study compares two non-surgical treatments for a specific type of foot fracture called a Chopart injury. One group will have their foot immobilized in a cast or boot for 6 weeks, while the other group will be allowed to walk as tolerated with a stiff-soled shoe. The goal is to see which approach leads to better recovery, less stiffness, and a quicker return to normal walking. About 70 adults with this injury will take part.
