Summary
This study tested whether a Chinese herbal formula (New Shoutai Wan) and/or the hormone progesterone could help women with threatened miscarriage carry their baby to term. Over 1,600 women with early pregnancy bleeding took one or both treatments or placebos. The main goal was to see which combination led to more live births.
