Summary

This study tested a treatment called Chondron, which uses a patient's own cartilage cells grown in a lab, against a standard surgery called microfracture for fixing knee cartilage defects. 21 people who had either treatment at least 2 years earlier were evaluated. The goal was to see which approach better improves knee function and reduces pain.
