New injection aims to protect livers in patients fed through veins

Summary
This study is testing whether choline chloride injections can help prevent or treat liver injury in people with intestinal failure who must get their nutrition through an IV. Researchers will compare two different doses of the injection against a placebo in adolescents and adults. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and can improve liver health and quality of life for these patients.
