First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a choline chloride injection in adolescents and adults with intestinal failure who need long-term nutrition through a vein. The goal is to see if the injection can safely raise choline levels and prevent liver injury. About 129 participants will receive either a low dose, high dose, or placebo. The trial has two parts: first to pick the best doses, then to compare them against placebo.
