Two drugs beat one in cholesterol battle

NCT ID NCT07444762

Summary

This completed study tested if a two-drug combination (DW5421A/DW5421B) works better than a single drug (DW5421A) at lowering 'bad' LDL cholesterol in adults with high cholesterol or mixed lipid problems. About 184 participants were randomly assigned to take either the combination or the single drug for 8 weeks. The main goal was to see which treatment lowered cholesterol more after 8 weeks.
