First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 11, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing whether a cream containing cholesterol can help repair the skin barrier and reduce symptoms in children with mild to moderate eczema. About 30 children, aged 7 to 17, will apply either the cholesterol cream or a placebo cream twice a day for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in skin dryness, water loss, and the severity of the eczema rash to see if the cream is effective.
