Summary

This study is testing whether giving the second dose of the Euvichol-S cholera vaccine later than the usual 2 weeks is still effective. Researchers in Nairobi, Kenya, will compare immune responses in over 1,000 people aged 1 year and older using three different schedules: the standard 2-week interval, a 3-month interval, and a 12-month interval. The goal is to find a more flexible dosing schedule that still protects against cholera, which could make vaccination campaigns easier in areas where the disease is common.
