First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether taking a supplement called sodium-copper-chlorophyllin for three months after radiation therapy can reduce long-term side effects like bladder and bowel problems in women with advanced cervical cancer. About 316 women whose radiation doses were higher than usual will be randomly assigned to take the supplement or receive standard follow-up care. The goal is to see if the supplement helps prevent serious side effects and improves quality of life.
