New numbing drug tested on kids in surgery

Summary
This study tested two different strengths (1% and 2%) of a numbing medicine called chloroprocaine. It was used to block pain during and after minor surgeries for flat feet or hernias in children from birth to under 18 years old. The goal was to see which strength worked better to control pain without needing extra pain medicine during the operation.
