First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study is testing an experimental mRNA vaccine to prevent chlamydia, a common sexually transmitted infection. About 1,560 adults aged 18 to 29 who are at higher risk (e.g., new or multiple partners) will receive either a low, medium, or high dose of the vaccine or a placebo. Researchers will monitor safety and immune response for up to 18 months to see if the vaccine can protect against infection.
