Summary

This study looks at whether adding a special gel (chitosan) applied with ultrasound to a standard exercise program helps athletes with repeat hamstring strains heal better. About 80 male recreational football players aged 18-35 will take part. The goal is to see if the treatment reduces pain, improves muscle strength and flexibility, and speeds up return to sport.
