Natural brush fights dental implant infection
NCT ID NCT06830200
Summary
This study aims to see if a brush made from a natural material called chitosan works better than the standard metal tool for treating peri-implantitis, a serious infection that can develop around dental implants. Researchers will compare the two methods in 60 people over 12 months, checking for signs of infection, bone loss, and inflammation. The goal is to find a more effective way to control this condition and help people keep their implants healthy.
