Massive study tracks 30,000 Kids' eyes to map normal growth
NCT ID NCT05770661
Summary
This study aims to understand how children's eyes normally grow by measuring the length of the eyeball (axial length) over time. It will follow 30,000 children and teenagers in China for three years with annual eye exams. The goal is to create reference charts for healthy eye development, which may help future research into conditions like nearsightedness.
