NCT ID NCT05772962
First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study reviews dental records of 2,400 children, half of whom are enrolled at Children's Advocacy Centers due to suspected abuse or neglect. Researchers want to see if there are telltale signs in the mouth that could help dentists identify maltreatment. The goal is to improve teamwork between dental clinics, advocacy centers, and child welfare services to better protect at-risk kids.
