Can extra support ease the fears of First-Time moms?

NCT ID NCT07436468

Summary

This study tested whether adding counseling to standard childbirth education classes helps first-time mothers adapt better to pregnancy and childbirth. Researchers compared two groups of 110 pregnant women: one received education plus phone counseling, while the other received education only. The goal was to see if the extra support reduced fear and improved overall adjustment to the pregnancy and birth process.
