New study aims to find best pain relief for kids after surgery
NCT ID NCT07398573
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common pain-blocking techniques works better for children having lower abdominal surgery, like hernia repair. Researchers will compare a caudal block with a quadratus lumborum block in 68 children aged 2 months to 6 years. They will measure pain during and after surgery using special monitors and scales to see which method provides longer-lasting relief and fewer side effects.
