Doctors track how Children's skin condition is managed from ER to home

NCT ID NCT05737056

Summary

This study observed how children diagnosed with rheumatoid purpura (a skin condition causing purple spots) were managed in pediatric emergency rooms and followed up by their family doctors afterward. Researchers looked at 66 children across three hospitals to see if care followed recommended guidelines. They also surveyed family doctors to understand their knowledge of the condition and any challenges in providing follow-up care.
