New Heart-Saving fluid tested in critically ill children

Summary
This study aims to test the safety of a new heart preservation solution called Custodiol-N during heart transplants in children. It will compare Custodiol-N to the standard solution (Custodiol) in 15 children under 18 who are waiting for a heart transplant. Researchers want to see if the new solution is safe and helps protect the donor heart during the transplant procedure.
