Summary
This study is testing a simple blood test to find children with a common inherited condition that causes very high cholesterol. Finding it early allows families to start healthy habits and safe, effective treatments to prevent heart attacks and strokes in adulthood. The goal is to see how many children in the general population have this condition, as most cases currently go undiagnosed.
