NCT ID NCT05982847
First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study will screen over 22,000 children aged 5 to 18 across South Africa to create the country's first accurate blood pressure charts for kids. Currently, doctors use charts from the US and Europe, which may not fit African children and can lead to wrong diagnoses. The goal is to improve how high blood pressure is detected and managed in South African youth.
