Safer child anesthesia? study tests new nerve block to protect breathing

NCT ID NCT07382063

Summary

This study compares two similar nerve block techniques used to numb the arm for surgery in children aged 6-12. Researchers want to see if a newer method affects breathing muscle function less than the standard method while still providing good pain relief. The goal is to find the safest and most effective way to manage pain for children having arm operations.
