Eye patch timing study aims to improve lazy eye treatment for kids

Summary

This study compares two common treatment approaches for lazy eye (amblyopia) in children ages 3-13. Researchers want to know if starting with glasses alone and adding an eye patch only if needed works as well as using glasses and an eye patch together from the beginning. The trial will follow 544 children for 56 weeks to see which approach leads to better vision improvement.
