New vaccine trial aims to protect kids from debilitating chikungunya virus

Summary
This study tests a vaccine to protect children aged 1 to 12 from chikungunya, a virus that causes severe joint pain and fever. About 720 children will receive either the vaccine or a placebo to check safety and immune response. The goal is to see if the vaccine can prevent this disease in young children.
