Can a simple pasta swap fix your gut and blood sugar?
NCT ID NCT07264465
Summary
This small, completed study tested whether eating chickpea pasta five times a week for 12 weeks could improve gut health and blood sugar levels. Twelve generally healthy adults with self-reported poor gut health (like bloating and discomfort) participated. Researchers measured changes in their gut bacteria, digestive symptoms, blood sugar markers, and waist size to see if the pasta made a difference.
