Chewing gum tested as Drug-Free fix for Post-Surgery nausea
NCT ID NCT07201883
Summary
This study is testing if chewing gum works as well as a standard nausea medication for women who feel sick after laparoscopic surgery. Researchers will compare chewing gum to the drug ondansetron in 90 female patients in Lebanon. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free option can effectively stop nausea and vomiting after an operation.
