New combo therapy aims to keep lung cancer from returning after surgery

Summary
This study tests whether adding immunotherapy to standard chemotherapy after lung cancer surgery helps keep the cancer from coming back. It involves 210 adults with stage IB to IIIA non-small cell lung cancer that was completely removed. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy followed by maintenance immunotherapy. The main goal is to see how long people live without their cancer returning.
