Summary
This study looked at 338 people with intermediate-risk nasopharyngeal cancer to see if modern radiation therapy alone is as good as radiation plus chemotherapy. Participants either got radiation alone or radiation with cisplatin chemo. The goal was to see if skipping chemo still keeps the cancer from coming back, while reducing side effects.
