Summary
This study looked at how chemotherapy changes the way the body uses food and builds muscle in cancer patients. Researchers tested whether adding a special mix of milk protein, carbohydrates, and fish oil could help prevent weight loss and muscle wasting. The study included 31 people with cancer who were scheduled for chemotherapy, plus a small group of healthy volunteers for comparison.
