NCT ID NCT02978612

Summary

This study investigated whether older adults (age 75+) can tolerate standard chemotherapy after surgery for stage III colon cancer. Researchers compared patients who received 6 months of chemotherapy pills to those who were simply observed. The main goal was to see if the treatment caused a significant decline in patients' daily functioning and independence.
