First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at two ways to clean leg ulcers caused by vein problems: using a chemical gel or scraping the wound. 80 adults with leg ulcers that had not healed for at least 6 weeks took part. The goal was to see which method works better and is safer for removing dead tissue and helping the wound heal.
