First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests a traditional Chinese herbal formula, Chaizhi Hewei Decoction, for people with non-erosive reflux disease (NERD) who have stomach discomfort but no visible damage. About 66 adults will receive either the herbal formula or a placebo to see if it improves symptoms and quality of life. The goal is to reduce the need for acid-reducing drugs and offer a safer, natural option.
