New sensor tested to help tame blood sugar spikes
NCT ID NCT06268808
Summary
This study tested whether using a continuous glucose monitor (the FreeStyle Libre 2) for three months could help adults with type 2 diabetes who take basal insulin better control their long-term blood sugar levels. Researchers measured changes in HbA1c and tracked how often participants' glucose stayed in a healthy range. The goal was to see if real-time glucose data helps people manage their condition.
