Can a tiny sensor help tame diabetes?

NCT ID NCT03067480

Summary

This study looked at whether wearing a professional continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for 3 months or 6 months could help people with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes (who don't use insulin) spend more time in a healthy blood sugar range. A small group of participants wore the monitor for a few days at different times. The goal was to see if more frequent monitoring helped improve blood sugar control over time.
