Could a tiny sensor on Mom's arm prevent dangerous pregnancy complications?

NCT ID NCT06957028

Summary

This study is testing if using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) early in pregnancy can help find and manage high blood sugar sooner than usual care. It aims to see if this early detection prevents problems like having a very large baby, birth injuries, or high blood pressure in the mother. The study will enroll 6,000 pregnant women without diabetes to compare outcomes between those using the CGM for management and those receiving standard care.
