Scientists probe genetic roots of male infertility
NCT ID NCT06045702
Summary
This study aims to better understand how a specific gene (CFTR) is controlled in cells of the male reproductive tract. Researchers will use small tissue samples collected during scheduled surgeries from men with infertility, cystic fibrosis, or a related condition. The goal is to build knowledge about the genetic causes of these conditions, not to provide direct treatment to participants.
